Today we were watching tv and Jack went into the kitchen to play with his new found love...the drawer under the oven. I keep pot lids in there and he love to get them out and bang them around, so we didn't think anything when we heard the sound of metal hitting the floor. A few minutes go by and we realize that Jack has been a little too quiet if you know what I mean. Britton went to check on him and this is what he found. Apparently a towel had been placed on the stove and a pot of gravy on top of it. This becomes an obvious no-no when you understand that before the oven drawer discovery, Jack's "job" in life was to pull the kitchen towels off of the oven handle.
Notice how the bottom half of his sleeper is soaked through with gravy...and he was having a blast!
(Side note: The stove had been off for at least an hour and a half and the gravy was no where near hot.)

mmmmmm...nothing like a yummy pot of gravy ;) it really doesn't get much cuter than that...He looked so proud of himself.
Yikes! That could have been scary. BOYS!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!! I understand. Keep smiling that is all we can do.
Jack is so cute! So lucky is wasn't hot and he was able to just make a nice mess!

That is so funny! Brenna's most recent favorite thing is to wait for someone to leave the pantry unlocked and then go and get the sugar out and pour it all over everything including her baby brothers head and the rest of the kitchen, her own head and the carpet. (if she can get that far without someone catching her first!)
That is so funny! Did he get any on your carpet!! Good thing it wasn't hot, our luck it would have been.
