We've been trying to teach him to say down when he's done eating and wants to get down from the high chair and he's finally got it.

Day's of '47 Parade

This was the most excitement we saw from the kids during the parade...when the BYU float rode by. We went with Britton's family as tradition, and then to Chuck-a-Rama for lunch and on to the fountains at the Gateway. That night we went over to Britton's sister's house for sparklers and fireworks. It was a great day!

Proof...

This is another one from my dad's visit. My little sister, McKenzie loves Hannah Montana, so when my dad heard that she was performing at Stadium of Fire this past 4th of July, they planned to come out for vacation around that time. My neice, Jocelynn also loves Hanna Montana and so it worked out nicely that my sister and step-mom would take them to see the show. The only catch was that the girls weren't told before-hand about the concert. On the 4th, we had a cook-out at our house and afterwards the girls received these Hannah Montana shirts and were told to put them on. This video is what happened next...

"Die ooh" ("Where are you?")

That big hill...

So, when my dad, stepmom, and sister were in town, we did a lot of fun stuff. Once place we visited was Thanksgiving Point. As we were walking through the gardens, we noticed some kids were rolling down that huge hill and my sister, neice and nephew were excited to try it. But when we finally got over there, they were hesitant...so, what do I do? You guessed it! (Yeah, I'm a nutter - rolling down hills at 27...)

Disclaimer: My poor dad - he had never used my camera before and it was so bright outside that the display screen appeared black, so you'll hear his confused narration, lol!

After we let him turn on the light, he looks up at it and exclaims, "WOW!" very clearly.



"Bah" ("??")


He says this while he points to a number of gadgets that he wants to play with, like light switches, the garage door opener, the thermostat, etc.

This is from way back when we went camping in June. I was trying to get Jack to say "your welcome", and he actually did right at the end, but you will have to turn the volume up a bit to hear it. :)
