Me and Jack at the Thanksgiving Point Gardens...kinda silly that neither of us are looking at the camera, huh?

Promises, promises...
So, I am promising to update this blog soon with what we have been up to. I'm pretty sure I have lots of pictures too. I have been trying to get lots of "projects" done before the summer ends and I loose Britton to school 'till next May, so I'm sorry I haven't been "here" so much, but don't worry - I'll be back! :D

"K" ("Ok")
Britton told Jack, "We're going downstairs to get some breakfast, ok?", and Jack replied, "K!"

"Doggy"
We took a walk yesterday afternoon and there was a couple walking their yellow lab. When Jack saw him, he yelled "doggy" and we were all surprised.

"Pea" ("Please")
We've been trying to teach him to say this forever, but after saying it like 20 times in a row this day, he hasn't said it since.

Memories, like the corner of my mind...
Memory Lane...I got this from Mindi. I hope you will play along. Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together (It can be a memory with either Stephanie, Britton, or both). It doesn't matter if you knew me/us a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you.

"Dee oo aah" ("There you are")
Jack loves to get inside his closet when I open it and when he refused to come out, I just shut the door. He doesn't get scared at all, but thought it was a game when I opened the door and that's what he said.

Jack Attack
Aunt Michelle heard him say "Here you go" when he was handing her the water bottle today at the splash park in Herriman.

"Ba bo" ("Bubbles")
I don't remember which show he was watching when they were talking about bubbles and he was saying it right along with them.

Some Firsts...
So, summer has been great so far for us...just enjoying what comes along!
Jack played a couple seconds of his first wiffle-ball (sp?) game at Wendy & Terry's house. Britton helped him hit the ball, and told him to run to first base (like he even knew what first base was, let alone where it was, he he). But I do think he ran in the correct direction, although he didn't go all the way to the base.

Jack's first popsicle from the Ice Cream Truck! It was sour, but he LOVED it!!

He decided that taking bites out of the side was easier than from the top.

Right after this picture he didn't freak out when I reached for the popsicle, he even handed it over gratefully and took it back only when he wanted a bite (but quickly returned it to me afterwards). A little too cold, huh?

"Baa Baa" ("Quack Quack")
I had asked him what the duck says and followed it with a "quack quack" and then he did it too. But imagine that the "Baa Baa" comes out really rough and throaty like when you are really trying to impersonate a duck.
