Jack, the Photographer

Jack figured out that I kept the camera in my purse and would pull it out at random times and get a few shots in before I figured out what was going on...these are some of the pictures that he got.
The bottom drawer of the tv stand, part of the coffee table and of course, his feet
My feet and Britton's legs

The coffee table with the Ensign on it

The blanket that Britton was using
Mommy taking a nap
A Mommy shot inside Walmart
...And of course a face shot :D
Ps. I couldn't get my favorite one to upload - a shot looking down to the floor, but the whole picture was his soccer ball underwear and his legs...too cute!

That's what you get for waking up in Vegas...

Britton's "internship" had us heading down to Las Vegas this summer. Jack and I stayed with him until my doctor's appointments were weekly, then we came back up to Utah to wait for Miles to arrive. These are pictures of some of our Vegas "adventures"...

Britton and Jack at the "hotel".

Playing in the pool - thank goodness for the pool, I was melting like a popsicle!!

Yeah, I actually let a picture be taken of myself while in the prego bathing suit...scary, I know! LOL

Jack LOVED getting to see and hang out with his Aunt, Uncle and cousins who live down that way.

Some months ago, Jack learned learned about pirates and would answer "Aarggghh" while closing one eye when you asked, "What does the pirate say?" So we thought we would take him over to see the pirate ships at the Treasure Island hotel. We were there in time to see the "show" and wondered how Jack would like it. This was before it started, but we didn't get to stay until the end. We think we've traumatized the poor kid because he went completely bonkers when the fake cannons started firing and the fake fire started pouring out of the backdrop. It didn't help much that we were on the front lines and felt the scorching heat from the fire. Poor Jack is now terrified of anything "hot"; steam, smoke, fire, fireworks, etc. I'm so sad about that.

I can't remember, but I think this lion habitat was at Mandalay Bay.

Jack practicing for December, "Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas!"

Britton's sister invited us to go swimming with them on her birthday and we had SO much fun - I'll have to download the videos soon. :D

Mommy (aka. me) went to get a much needed and (hopefully well deserved) massage, so Daddy and Jack got some time alone together. They went to Circus Circus and had a blast playing games and winning stuffed animals.

I found Jack asleep during naptime just like this one day. It was so cute...it looks like he's posing there with his stuffed animals and books. So sweet!

Britton's sister watched Jack overnight for us on our anniversary, and I passed by the Hoover Dam on my way to and from her house. Although I've never been there before, I wasn't willing to stop and "sightsee". I did think that the bridge they are building was quite amazing...I think it is pretty awesome how they are building it up from both sides supporting the arches with all those cables - WOW!

For our anniversary, we went to the buffet at the Paris for dinner and then got to see the Variety show (for free), and even had upgraded seating when they saw my huge belly and me ambling over to the bar stools they were planning to seat us in - gotta love it!!

I have really been wanting to take Jack to see a movie in the movie theatre, but we haven't made it that far yet. This is a picture from our attempt to go see "Up". I don't think Jack liked how loud the volume was, and there were some "scary" (meaning something that involved fire or smoke) previews. We made it about 5 or 10 minutes in and gave up. :(

More Cuteness!

Here are some pictures my sister, Becky, took that I bummed off her...

See all that hair :)

Hospital gowns are never becoming!

Daddy and Miles

Our first attempt at "Family Time" didn't go over so well. Jack was happy there was a baby around, but he was more concerned with finding some M&Ms - go figure, lol! That was the same day Miles was born. Yesterday (a day later), we decided to give it another shot and were so impressed with the difference. We hope that these little glimpses are proof that Jack will be a great big brother and we of course hope that Miles will love his big brother just as much as Jack seems to already love Miles.

I will ALWAYS cherish this video.

Announcing...Mister Miles Britton

We decided on a name and LOVE our little Miles. He is such a good baby and we are so grateful to have him here. Here are some more pictures :D

Family shot

Aunt Tiffany dressed Jack in clean clothes to come see his baby brother, but as soon as he got to our room, he spotted Daddy's coke and made a beeline for it...hence the brown shirt stains :P

Jack didn't mind kissing "the baby" at all...we don't think he understands that Miles gets to go home with us just yet

Pretty relaxed - and you get to see some of his fuzzy dark hair

Another shot with his hair, but we'll have to get some more, so...

To be continued... :D
