Jack has a fun new habit. He has decided that fun is the equivalent of screaming at the top of his voice for the duration of his lung capacity and for no apparent reason. This happens so randomly and suddenly that I immediately become frazzled. Then I am so frustrated with myself that I have become frazzled with him when it isn't his fault, that my mood turns sour.
I'm sure what is happening is that he has developed a new need, but I have yet to discover what that need is, so therefore am unable to cater to it.
There you have it. Judge as you may...
Now that's off my chest, here are some fun pictures! :)
Jack didn't want to wear his New Years' hat, he wanted to eat it!

Jack got bath toys for Christmas from his Grandaddy and boy does he have fun with them! He loves bath time, and gets so mad when it's time to get out - even if he's been in so long that he's all wrinkled up like a prune.

This is what Jack looks like when his Daddy is in charge of feeding him. Notice the banana stuck to his head!

This picture is from just a couple days after Christmas. He was just so darn worn out with all the get-togethers and traveling and festivities there were. He didn't flinch when I took the picture, and didn't move a muscle when we unbuckled him. Poor guy!

I get the frazzled mommy syndrome a lot too, and then inevitably the guilt that follows for being frustrated with an innocent wee one. I think it's pretty common. I am hoping it is better with subsequent children.
I love the feeding picture. Luckily it wasn't anything too dirty. Keep updating...I love looking at the new pics.
Kaitlyn has started the screaming thing too! i should tell her to stop but it makes me laugh every time. :)
Welcome to toddlerhood. I had one of those days yesterday where it was all I could do to was not to just lock my kids in their room all day to keep from going crazy! Kids sure do bring a lot of challanges.
